Cookie policy
Short version: we use the cookies LedgerMate needs to work, and, only if you allow it, Google Analytics cookies on our public website. Never inside the app, and never for advertising.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential, such as the one that remembers you are signed in. Others measure how a website is used, or track you for advertising. We use the essential kind, and analytics only with your permission. We never use advertising cookies.

The essential cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, so they do not need your consent. You can block cookies in your browser, but you will not be able to sign in. Your answer to the analytics question is remembered in your browser's storage, so we don't ask again on every page.
Google Analytics
If you choose Allow, Google Analytics records which pages of our public website you visit, roughly where you are (country and city), your device and browser, and how you found us. It does not run inside the LedgerMate app, so it never sees your books, invoices or customers, and it never runs on payment or password links. We send only the page address, without anything after a question mark. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off. Google processes this information for us and may store it outside South Africa.
You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Choosing No thanks stops Google Analytics and removes its cookies. Read our privacy policy for more on how we handle information.
